About Barrett,Bussinger,Chastain,Craig,Deavers,Ellsworth,Funk,Higgs,Hodel,Jackson,Jewell,Johnson,Meders...
This page is dedicated to my best friend and father figure, my Grandfather
Edward E. Ellsworth, his daughter (my Mother), Patricia Ann, who died far too
young and my Grandmother Etna Pauline (Johnson) Craig, a strong woman who lived
a very rough life but always maintained a wonderful sense of humor (I think of
her as Mother Theresa and Wonder-woman all rolled up in one!(a bit of inside
humor here.))

Also, thanks to my Aunt Mary (Ellsworth) (Auntie "M") and, honorary "Aunt" Fran
(Ellsworth) Beavers! Both who lived through much but were SO helpful in their
willingness to be truthful on some VERY tough and personal family subjects. I can not
express how deeply I appreciate their honest input!

Very special thanks to Patrick L. Himmler of St. Peter and Paul's Church,
Cumberland, MD. for providing me with countless records and family history, and
Phyllis Rosley, Genie Ragan and Suzette Graham, three real genealogical angels,
and newly found cousins Lois & Bob Emswiler, Mary Ann Bechtold, Jim Barrett,
Carol Maxey Williamson,Kristen Marie Kiblin,Patricia Ricker, Susan Buchholtz
Harmer and Michelle Abrajano, possibly a cousin, who have all helped me when I
didn't know where to look and provided me with precious documents and photos.

Thanks also to anyone I may have missed!

This tree is a continuing work in progress, covering my main ancestry branches
and many other side ones. If you find mistakes, please contact me.

*Please note: I do NOT like to print negative accounts of ANYONE, BUT, if I'm faced
with information from sources that I find very credible, then I WILL give the
information for several reasons: First of all, for medical reasons (both physical and
(mainly) mental.) Also, although not flattering, I believe people should be "brought
to life through these details. There are hateful, nasty, people in all our lives.
Anyone who denies that is probably in denial.

Anyway, I will be giving any unflattering remarks in the notes section after a series
of "XXXXXX." If you arrive at this in the tree and DO NOT want to know the negative
aspects of this person, please stop reading at this point!

I try to confirm my information, but some sources are not always
accurate. The further back in time the dates go, the less reliable the information.

Just for "fun", I traced my lines back to the List of Kings (which goes into the
BC period, but has been proven to be generally unreliable (and probably at times
just out-right fiction.) I hope this doesn't scare off any researchers. I will
gladly tell you exactly where, what I believe to be the TRUE family history
blends into the semi-mythological regions.*

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthday and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
